20 years helping people land in the right Coachella Valley community - not just the right house.
Explore communities
The house matters less than where it sits. Here's what each community actually feels like to live in — including the things people wish they'd known before they made an offer.
Avg. $977K
Mid-century architecture, a walkable downtown, and the widest range of neighborhood character in the valley.
A large share of the city sits on leased tribal land rather than fee simple — it changes financing and resale.
Avg. $506K
The best price per square foot on the west end, and a central spot that puts you fifteen minutes from most of the valley.
The Cove is one of the few places left to buy a detached home with a view and no monthly HOA dues.
Avg. $1.2M
Low density by city ordinance, so lots run larger and the streets stay quiet year round.
Most inventory sits behind gates in established country clubs, and Eisenhower Health being here matters more than buyers admit.
Avg. $743K
The practical center of the valley — El Paseo, the widest price range of any city here, and the most that stays open through summer.
North and south Palm Desert are effectively two different markets, and Sun City is age-qualified.
Avg. $1.6M
The smallest and priciest city in the valley, almost entirely gated golf communities.
Residents get a golf and tennis benefit card — a real perk almost nobody outside the valley knows exists.
Avg. $1.3M
Really two markets — the compact, mountain-backed Cove, and the private clubs at the south end.
Buyers routinely say "La Quinta" meaning one of them and end up touring the other.

You've probably watched a few of the videos before landing here. That's usually how this starts.
I'm Mike Haque. I've been selling residential real estate in the Coachella Valley for over 20 years, from Palm Springs down through La Quinta, Palm Desert, Rancho Mirage, Indian Wells, Cathedral City, Indio, Bermuda Dunes, and the High Desert.
Most of the people I work with aren't local. They're relocating, buying a second home, or figuring out whether the desert makes sense for retirement. They have real questions about HOA dues, land leases, country club memberships, summer heat, short-term rental rules, and which neighborhoods hold value. The videos exist because those questions come up over and over.
There are a handful of agents I work alongside and support, and the depth that gives us matters. But when you reach out here, you're reaching me directly. I take these clients personally, which is why I limit how many I work with at once and why you'll get a straight answer instead of a sales pitch.
If you're six months out, that's fine. Ask your questions now.
Pick the one that sounds like you. What I send back is different for each.
12+ Months Out
You're watching videos, running numbers, and going back and forth on whether the summers are actually survivable. Nothing to decide yet.
→ Which cities fit which budgets, what a land lease really means for financing and resale, what summer costs to run.
Scouting Soon
You have dates, or you're about to book them. Most people land here with a list of houses when they should have a list of neighborhoods.
→ A route built around your budget and how you'd actually spend a week here, sent before you book the flight.
0-6 Months
You know the valley well enough to have opinions. Now it's financing, timing, and which listings are worth the trip.
→ Twenty minutes on the phone, plus what's coming to market before it hits the portals.
Most of what I'd tell you on a first call, I've already answered on camera.
